Position Summary
We are a well-established, award-winning design-build remodeling company with over 30 years of experience serving homeowners through high-quality renovations and custom construction projects. We are seeking a skilled, professional carpenter who takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates well with clients and team members, and is committed to delivering exceptional work. The Carpenter plays a key role in executing residential remodeling projects, maintaining job site quality and safety, and representing the company professionally in clients' homes.
Key Responsibilities
Construction & Carpentry
- Perform all phases of residential remodeling construction including framing, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, trim and millwork, window and door installation, drywall repairs, deck construction, and general remodeling tasks.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Complete work according to company quality standards and project schedules.
- Identify potential construction issues and communicate solutions proactively.
Project Execution
- Work closely with Project Managers and Designers to ensure project success.
- Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors and vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, material usage, and project progress.
- Assist in scheduling inspections and ensuring compliance with building codes.
Client Relations
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while working in clients' homes.
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with homeowners.
- Protect client property and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
Job Site Management
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Properly care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct daily job site cleanup and final project punch list completion.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of residential remodeling or carpentry experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Experience with both rough and finish carpentry.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience in design-build remodeling.
- Experience leading small crews.
- Knowledge of building codes and inspection requirements.
- Trade certifications or vocational training.
- Experience with project management software and mobile technology.

Work Environment
Primarily residential remodeling job sites. Year-round work. Full-time position. Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (as project needs require).
